CareForce Caregivers Learn How to Cook

Synchronized Salisbury Steak 2015Carolyn Anderson, RN, came on board at CareForce in February of 2015.  She has brought with her an enthusiasm for teaching and coaching our caregivers regarding healthy meals.  As an expert in diabetes she quickly requested that we sponsor development of cooking classes that inform our caregivers about nutrition, safe food handling, and inviting menus.  The first cooking class was done in early December, 2015.  Our caregivers learned how to make French toast and fruit for breakfast as well as Salisbury steak , mashed potatoes, and steamed vegetables for dinner.  It was a big success.  CareForce looks forward to expanding our caregivers cooking repertoire over the next year.  Thanks Carolyn.
