CareForce, Inc. announced that it has received its home health license from the Washington Department of Health effective June 1, 2007. The new license allows the locally owned company to add private duty nursing care to its existing service line that includes in-home care, geriatric care management, and distribution of Lifeline© personal alarm systems. CareForce serves older and disabled adults in the comfort of their own homes throughout King and Snohomish Counties. The company is located in Lynnwood and employs over 100 caregivers, and a support staff of 14 that includes four Registered Nurses and two Masters Level Social Workers.
“The addition of skilled nursing services such as medication management, injections, and wound care is a logical step for us as we develop a fully integrated private duty home care system for our clients.” We have always used Registered Nurses to plan and supervise our in-home care services even though this exceeds state requirements and industry standards.
