Comments received from those who attended these sold out sessions include:

"Everything was so interesting, my experience with this workshop was very informative, I'm taking with me wonderful tools that I can apply to help my family, friends and clients.  Teepa Snow is really fun and very knowledgeable.  This was my first time and I would love to attend her class next time she's in Seattle.  Thank you so much Teepa, you're amazing!"

"Teepa acted out different scenarios and it gave me an idea how to act and respond in different situations on a practical level."

"This disease is organ failure.  We have to remember that the patient's brain is dying, they are trying the best they can.  We need to take their lead, then manage it to help them still feel empowered."

"I really enjoyed Teepa's different approach to working with dementia and the gradual decline of this disease, and the signs and symptoms to work through the progression of the disease."

"I now have the information on what to do.  How to be a carepartner and not a caregiver to people with dementia."

"The emphasis on connecting first and then de-emphasizing the target behavior makes sense and works!"

"I appreciated Teepa's style of teaching- very active and visual.  I got so much out of this seminar, how to talk and work closely, and safely with demented patients."

"To understand the progression of the disease, how much the medical community needs to address these issues, awareness of how to converse with people with dementia and learning how sensitive we need to be to watch and inquire about their needs are: care vs. drugs!"

"The role playing brought characters, traits and interventions to life.  DVD's of her real clients with Teepa interacting had the most impact on me."

"The level of progressive changes that dementia patients go through and the different approaches you can use will be quite helpful."

"I truly appreciate the organization for bringing us this kind of event.  Very affordable and very informative.  We need more training like this, it makes our job easier- thank you."
